Every so often I go and help out another photographer – to be their backup for the day, to be their second set of eyes and to be in the places that they can’t be. And also to fetch lenses, hold lights, carry bags and get drinks….
This particular sunny afternoon, I was helping out my good friend Neil Redfern, photographing Claire and Matthew’s wedding at Middleton Lodge in Yorkshire. It was pretty idyllic – Middleton Lodge is beautiful, the weather held out for us, and the only people enjoying themselves more than the guests were Claire and Matthew themselves.
Thank you to Neil for having me along, and thank you to Claire and Matthew for sharing their day with me. Here’s a few of the images I came away with.
