From time to time I get asked to help out with other photographers. The bride and groom want a second pair of eyes for the day, and I’m more than happy to oblige. No photographer can be in every place all the time, so a second shooter can really help out. Not only can we then be at the back of the ceremony and up front at the same time, but we can capture both sets of prep. Though admittedly, there’s less hairspray and makeup with boy-prep.
Rogerthorpe Manor is one of those hidden gems, that’s thankfully hidden just around the corner from me. And it’s where Gemma and Alex chose to get married. So when my good friend Gavin asked me to join him for the day, I couldn’t really say no.
It all started when I joined Alex in the morning…
