We’ve all got them – the friends who you’ve known pretty much forever but you never see them. Doesn’t matter if it’s 50 miles down the road or a different country, life always seems to get in the way. But it’s worth the effort. They’re usually the best ones.

With Krish and Matt I last caught up with them then they just had one little one. Now that little one has grown up and is learning to ride his bike. And he has a brother who wants to chew things.

So I jumped on a train (seriously, I almost ran for it!) and visited them for a brew and a catch up. Trains, dinosaurs and bikes were the theme of the day. Ice creams were had, swings were swung, and there might have been a fall or two.

It was fantastic to see Matt and Krish again, and to see how their family has grown. I promise to not leave it so long next time!
